Red Mountain Chamber Orchestra
Monday, April 30, 8:00 p.m., Palmer Auditorium

The Red Mountain Chamber Orchestra will perform a concert of light classics and trumpet favorites at Palmer Auditorium on Monday, April 30, at 8:00 p.m. The concert will include pieces by Gershwin,  Copland, Leroy Anderson and more. Guest conductors and soloists will include UM professor and Director of Bands, Dr. Joe Ardovino, Paul Morton, and Dennis Carroll. Dr. Ardovino will perform the Hummel concerto and more on trumpet. Montevallo Community Band

Conducted by student director Dakota Bromley, a senior music education major at UM, the group will perform a lively concert of old standards and new favorites in a performance appropriate for the whole family.  This concert is free and all are invited!
